Energy
We have a Certified combined heat power plant implemented in the
Spa which converts 90 percent of the fuel into useable energy. A
much higher percentage than conventional electricity generation
making it more efficient and better for the environment.
Recycling
A large amount of recycling goes on at our hotel and
Spa. This includes glass, paper, cardboard and printer
cartridges.
We have in
place:
100% Printer toner recycling
99% Glass bottle recycling
75% Paper recycling
(aim to lift this to 100% Mid June 08)
100% Cardboard
Food
All our Chefs and Kitchen teams
are totally committed to supporting Food Heroes, an Exclusive
Hotels initiative to promote and work with local suppliers, so that
they can source the very best seasonal produce in and around their
immediate area and develop excitingly varied menus.

Heroes'
Pennyhill have created a
wonderful kitchen garden which produces a wide variety of organic
herbs for the chefs.
We also have a green waste compost policy from gardens and
kitchen.
